Manual Opening and Closing of the Bonnet and Roof of the Peugeot 206 cc

This video shows how to manually open and close the convertible roof and the bonnet where it should be stored when not in use. Storing the roof manually is a standard procedure, but the boot must be completely empty, as the roof requires all the space: it is better to have a second person assist you: pull the roof release lever, turn off the car, and lift the roof from the open position. On the sides of the roof, there are mechanical hooks near the pillars that need to be manually released with a flat screwdriver. Then slowly fold the roof towards the boot, being careful not to force the hydraulic arms. Once folded, ensure that the rear hooks latch correctly onto the boot, which you will gently close to avoid damage: if it does not close, it means that the roof is not completely folded. To open it, proceed in the opposite direction.
