To replace the front bracket on a Peugeot 308 without completely removing the bumper, first, you need the help of a second person. Then, obtain the bracket, which can be found on eBay with the code 365813473149 for £45.99, with free delivery. Detach the bumper only from the affected side (remove the screws under the bumper in the wheel arch area and along the top (under the bonnet); you do not need to remove everything, just create enough space to insert your hand and locate the bracket, which is inside the bumper, securing it to the bodywork. It is held by a couple of Torx screws that fix the bracket to the bumper itself. While your helper pulls the bumper outwards, slide out the old bracket and insert the new one, then reassemble everything, and you’re done.
