Replacing the number plate lights on a Peugeot 308? Follow this guide to replace the damaged bulbs with new LED bulbs. Using a screwdriver or a lever, remove the plastic light unit located inside the rear tailgate of the car. Once the light unit is removed (disconnect the connector), extract the bulb holder from its housing, then remove the bulb from it. Fit the new bulb (same size and voltage) into the bulb holder, then refit the light unit into the tailgate. Finally, test the correct operation of the newly fitted LED bulb.
