Peugeot 206 - Video tutorial

Model: Peugeot 206 MK 1 - Years 1998-2012
Part: Headlight
Operation: How to remove the headlight of a Peugeot 206

Do you want to remove the headlight of a Peugeot 206? Let's see how to proceed with the disassembly in the video. We open the bonnet by pulling the bonnet opening lever and put it in safety. We remove the central mask (as in video); we unscrew the locking pins on the headlight bar with a socket wrench. At this point we will find other pins in the lower part of the lighthouse; unscrew them from the metal plates. We detach the lamp holders from the headlight and extract the same from the car body. We assemble the new headlight with the new bulbs if damaged and (always suitable type and size) we insert the headlight in its housing. Finally we tighten the pins above the headlight, with the plastic band we cover the lower part. We test the correct functioning of the lights.

Once the tire in question has been inflated, a diagnostic tool can be connected to the vehicle's OBD port so that the error can be reset. By following the procedure indicated in the tutorial, it will be possible to reset the warning light and turn on the ignition to check that everything has been done correctly.
