Peugeot Boxer diesel filter replacement (1.6 HDI PSA)
Model: Peugeot Boxer
MK 2
- Years 2006-2024 Required: Torx T20, a flat and a Phillips screwdriver, a combined 7 wrench for the pipe fasteners, a size 10 socket wrench used to remove the battery holder, which is in a confined space, a new diesel filter compatible. The diesel filter on PSA 1.6 HDi not replaced can cause various problems. It can cause messages such as "anti-pollution system error" or error codes such as P0087 or P0093. First we will remove the turbo air intake, the air filter intake and even the battery. We will also unscrew the oil brake reservoir. A classic black silicone paste and obviously a plastic container usually used to drain the oil can also be useful. Procedure: First remove the top cover The filter is underneath, then we will remove the turbo intake first Remove the secondary air intake tube by twisting slightly Unscrew the metal fasteners at the top and bottom of the tube Once loosened, proceed to extract the pipe from the turbine Be careful with the white clips that hold the exhaust pipe of the head, here the hot gases produced by the engine are recirculated in the intake, so before pulling make sure that the clips are lifted. Now unscrew the tank torx and then remove the primary air intake pipe. Remove the battery starting with the cover box. Now unscrew the battery holder located next to the battery on the bottom. Now you can take out the battery, remember to unplug the connector You can see where it connects to the airbox. This hose brings pressurized air to the brake booster, if necessary, it is possible. Now the primary air intake must be sealed with black silicone. It takes at least an hour to dry, so it takes just the right amount of time before starting the engine. Then push it back into the air filter site, reconnect the air brake hose. Now we can restore the turbine suction and the battery. Remove the orange gasket to clean it of oil, otherwise it will not stick well on the turbine and will slip off. Also clean the suction with a towel and also the turbine suction. Tighten the fasteners. Now the battery and hoses are all in place. Also remember to clean the EGR valve once a year. It is recommended to replace the diesel filter again every 40,000 or 50,000 km.

How to remove the telepass holder from the windshield![]() Today we will explain how to remove the telepass holder from a vehicle's windshield. Removing the telepass holder from the windshield is a very simple and quick operation to perform independently, you just need to use nylon thread that you will need to pull towards the holder and pass it between the holder and the clip. After performing this operation, the holder will be removed. There may be glue residues on the windshield that can be removed with a solvent suitable for glass cleaning. After cleaning everything, it is possible to mount another telepass holder on the windshield in the same position as the one removed or elsewhere. by ScegliAuto More videos
