How to Replace the Tailgate Lock on a Peugeot 307

Before starting, open the tailgate of your Peugeot 307. Begin by removing the tailgate panel, simply unscrewing the fixing screws, then disengage it from its housing. Next, unscrew and remove the screws securing the lock, then disconnect the electrical connector, and you will have freed the tailgate lock. Now, extract the lock from its housing, disconnect the last electrical connector, and the disassembly will be complete. To fit the new lock, simply follow these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be finished.
