How to Replace the Tailgate Lock on a Peugeot 307

Before starting, open the tailgate of your Peugeot 307. Begin by removing the tailgate panel by unscrewing the fastening screws and unclipping the internal hooks. Next, unscrew and remove the screws that secure the lock to the tailgate, then disconnect the corresponding electrical connector. This will free the tailgate lock. Proceed to extract the lock from its housing, disconnect the final connector, and you will have completed the disassembly. To fit the new lock and reassemble everything, simply follow this procedure in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
