Replacing the button cell battery inside the smart key of a Peugeot 207 is undoubtedly one of the simplest and quickest tasks you can do independently. Before you start, make sure you have a small flat-head screwdriver.

First, using the same screwdriver, remove the back part of the cover. Just underneath, you will find the protective cap of the battery.

Remove it as well, and then proceed to replace the battery. Finally, reposition the protective cap and reattach the back part of the cover you removed earlier.
