With the car switched off, pull the handbrake and the hood release lever to open it. Now we can access the engine cover which we need to remove to access the spark plugs. Use a 10 bit socket wrench to remove the two nuts located on one side. Disconnect the power supply of the coils. To do this, lift the support tab of the connector, then pull on the terminal. Remove the vacuum duct to do this. Push on the yellow part of each CLIP by hand and if not successful, use a flat screwdriver. Remove the coil lock. Tip: It is recommended to use a thin plastic tube attached to a vacuum cleaner to clean well around the spark plug housing. Use a socket wrench with a long extension and a size 14 spark plug insert to unscrew the spark plug. It is advisable to unscrew the spark plugs one at a time so as not to let dirt fall into the engine. Take the new spark plug and fit the new spark plug. Insert it first in the bush to be able to present it in its support where it must be screwed. Start screwing by hand, then finish with a wrench and finally tighten a quarter turn. You can use the torque wrench to tighten according to the tightening torque indicated by the manufacturer, or you can also use a protractor. Repeat the operation with the other spark plugs. Proceed to reassemble all the pieces backwards.
