In this new guide we will talk about replacing the battery of the Peugeot 2008 Mk1. This is an operation that can be perfectly performed independently and without the help of a professional. Just follow the instructions described below carefully. Before starting, remember to switch off the car completely and allow the engine compartment to cool down sufficiently. Once you have taken the necessary precautions, raise the front hood all the way and locate the battery on the right side. Remove the protective plastic cover and unscrew the two bolts holding the two poles in place with a 10mm wrench. Once done, disconnect both the positive and negative poles. Now unscrew all the safety bolts and pull the battery towards you. Replace it with a new one, retighten the safety bolts and finally reconnect the two poles.
