Replacement of Exhaust Manifold

Model: Peugeot 306 MK 1 - Years 1993-2002

If you hear excessive noise coming from the engine bay, it is likely that there is a leak in the exhaust manifold. Wait for the engine to cool down and proceed to remove the manifold located at the rear of the engine, secured to the cylinder head with eight 13 mm bolts, disconnecting also the flange of the exhaust pipe. Once the manifold is removed, apply the new gaskets and then fit the new manifold, tightening the respective securing bolts and reconnecting it to the exhaust pipe (consider the possibility of having the manifold repaired by welding with the appropriate equipment).
