Replacing the External Door Handle

If the door does not open and close properly and the handle has lost its spring return function, it means you need to replace the handle, which requires removing the door panel. Start by removing the trim around the internal handle and the window winder, then take off the speaker grille and the speaker itself, followed by removing the plastic storage pocket. Finally, remove the armrest support and take off the panel to access the two nuts securing the handle so you can remove and replace it.
