Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Model: Peugeot 407 MK 1 - Years 2004-2012

If possible, position the vehicle on a lift or suitable ramps to raise it and gain easier access to the oil sump; before replacing the filter, unscrew the drain plug from the oil sump and drain the used oil; once drained, screw the plug back in. The oil filter (cartridge type) is located at the front left of the engine bay (when facing the front), just below the turbocharger: to access it easily, it is suggested to remove the intake duct. At this point, unscrew the cap of the filter container, remove the old cartridge, and insert the new one, replacing the O-ring seals as well. Then fill the engine with new oil until reaching the maximum level.
