On the Peugeot 308, the job is set up like a classic oil service: secure the vehicle and first drain the used oil, working from underneath with a properly positioned collection tray. Once the drain is free, allow the oil to flow until the outflow reduces, ensuring the circuit is well emptied. In parallel, proceed to replace the oil filter on the Peugeot 308. Remove the filter and replace it with the new one, ensuring the correct positioning of the seal and cleaning the seat to avoid leaks on the first start-up. After this phase, close the drain and complete the reassembly of the involved parts. At this point, top up with new oil from the engine bay, pouring gradually and checking the level to reach the correct value without exceeding.
