How to Change the Engine Oil and Filter on a Peugeot 308

To change the engine oil and filter on a Peugeot 308, park the car on a flat surface and let the engine cool down to make the oil more fluid, then safely lift the vehicle and place a container under the oil sump, unscrew the drain plug and let the used lubricant drain completely; once the drainage is complete, close the plug checking the seal and tightening, then proceed to replace the oil filter by carefully unscrewing it and fitting the new one after lightly lubricating the seal with clean oil; finally, fill the engine with the amount specified by the manufacturer through the top cap, check the level with the dipstick, start the engine for a few seconds and check for leaks, then recheck the level and top up if necessary.
