Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Peugeot 407 MK 1 - Years 2004-2012

The cabin air filter is located on the driver's side, just behind the centre console, right next to the accelerator pedal; start by removing the sound-absorbing cover above the pedal area by releasing the relevant securing clips; once you reach the air duct housing, unclip the cover of the filter housing, extract it and remove any dirt residue present inside the filter container; then insert the new filter (activated carbon type is recommended) respecting the direction of airflow indicated by the arrows on the filter itself.
