How to Install a Rear Camera on a Peugeot 308

In this video tutorial, you can see how to install a rear camera on a Peugeot 308. The first step is to purchase a new quality camera from an authorised dealer. Remove all the material inside the boot. Use a screwdriver to remove the placeholders as shown in the video; loosen the screws and remove the plastic part by pulling it away; also remove the part above the window. The camera will be positioned on the right side above the number plate, so you need to remove the placeholder, as you will need to drill a hole in it, then the camera will be secured inside the placeholder. Measure the diameter of the camera, then draw the circle on the placeholder; drill the placeholder with a drill, making a precise hole for the camera to fit perfectly. It is advisable to push the metal clips of the camera slightly outward to ensure that the clips snap inside the placeholder. Once the camera is in place, you can put it back above the light display. In the boot, connect the two cables: "the white cable" is for providing electricity (positive and negative wire) and then there is the black cable. Cut the female end to connect the positive and negative wires to the relay. Now pass the cables through the holes (you can also use a metal guide wire to pull the cables).
