In this tutorial, we will see how to replace the ignition barrel in the Peugeot 306, a very simple and quick task. First, insert the key but leave it in the first position, then unscrew the three screws located under the steering column and remove both the lower and upper covers. Next, extract the immobiliser barrel, unscrew the screw indicated with a Torx key, and detach the clip located on the lower part of the barrel. At this point, pull the barrel out by pulling the key towards you, position the replacement, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
