If one of the electrical devices in the vehicle does not activate, the first thing to check is the integrity of the corresponding protection fuse; the function of the fuse is to protect the device it is associated with and the electrical system itself from a potential short circuit or an absorption anomaly; it is indeed rated for a specific absorption threshold in Amperes, and if the device draws more current than it should, the fuse element inside melts, opening the circuit and interrupting the supply.

The fuse box is located in the engine compartment, near the battery; lift the corresponding cover under which the correspondence between the fuse and the device it is associated with is indicated; then pull out the fuse, check its integrity, and if necessary, replace it with one of the same rating, never with a larger one.
