Replacement of Auxiliary Belt and Crankshaft Pulley

Model: Peugeot 206 MK 1 - Years 1998-2012

To replace the auxiliary belt, access is required from the passenger side wheel arch: lift the vehicle securely on a jack; then remove the front wheel and the plastic wheel arch liner; loosen the tensioner of the auxiliary belt and remove it from the various pulleys; move the pipes that pass near the flywheel to access the locking hole and prevent the flywheel from rotating; at this point, remove the fixing bolt of the crankshaft pulley, take off the old pulley, and install the new one, securing it with a new bolt; finally, insert the new belt, tension it by pulling the tensioner with a square-section tool (an old handle can be used), and tighten the fixing bolt of the tensioner.
