Let's see how to change the filter and oil of the Peugeot Partner's engine. We open the engine hood and remove the oil filler cap. It is recommended to use a cleaning product before changing the oil for better results. Therefore, we leave the car running for 5 minutes, pour the cleaning product, and let the engine idle for another 10 minutes. We lift the front of the car and place it on two jack stands, remove the plastic base (if present) to access the oil drain plug. We place an oil collection pan under the plug and unscrew it with a 21mm socket wrench, allowing all the oil to drain out. Once finished, we replace the new plug, tighten it initially by hand, and finally with the key. To access the filter, we disconnect the air intake hose, so we can unscrew the filter flange with a 27mm ratchet wrench and extension. We position the oil collection pan underneath to collect the oil inside the filter. We remove the rubber gasket from the flange and replace it with a new one after lightly lubricating it. We remove the old filter and replace it with a new one, passing a thin layer of oil on the contact surfaces and paying attention to the correct assembly. We put the flange back and tighten it using a torque wrench to 25Nm. We reconnect the air hose, reassemble the base, and remove the jack stands. We pour in an amount equal to 90% of the new oil, run the engine for a few minutes, and check the correct level using the dipstick, topping up if necessary.
