To remove the centre dashboard panel, detach the plastic cover at the base of the gear lever using a tool like a screwdriver. This will allow you to lift the gear gaiter and remove the knob, enabling you to completely take off the panel. You can then extract the radio and the compartment below by disconnecting the connectors at the back. At this point, loosen the screws securing the climate control panel, remove it, and replace all parts with new ones.
