Peugeot 206 - Video tutorial
Model: Peugeot 206
MK 1
- Years 1998-2012 Let's see how to replace the radiator resistor on a Peugeot 206. The car signals a problem, warning us with the yellow triangle light, which is constantly on, and it means engine control system anomaly. We connect our Multiscanner to the OBD port, which is located in a compartment between the steering wheel and the driver's door on the Peugeot 206, and see what it is about. The scanner does not detect any engine errors, so it is a resistor problem; in fact, the temperature is at 90° and the fans do not start. We open the hood: the resistor is hidden under the intake duct, which is easily removed. We proceed to remove the resistor, which is screwed onto a single pin. You can find the replacement for about 13.00 euros both from a spare parts dealer and on major e-commerce platforms. All that remains is to reconnect it and screw back the pin that we had previously removed. We reassemble the intake duct that we had removed to do the job. To reset the warning light, a strange procedure must be followed. Close all doors, remove the ignition key, and wait for 3 minutes. Disconnect the vehicle's battery and wait for 15 seconds. Reconnect the vehicle's battery and wait for 10 seconds (without opening the doors). Turn on the side lights through the driver's window. Start the engine and check the functionality of the system. Press the lock button on the key for 10 seconds. Remove the key, open and close the doors, start the engine, and complete the system check. It seems that it is essential to follow this entire procedure.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow to open the Fiat Panda petrol tank flapIn this video we proceed to the explanation, also verbal, of the technical operation of the opening and closing of the petrol tank cap. With the ignition on, the fuel cap, or rather the fuel filler flap, is open and therefore accessible. When trying to turn off the aforementioned ignition and then lock the car with the key, it is assumed that the petrol door, as well as the doors of the car, are closed, but this is not the case, in fact the latter in practice always remains open. Ultimately, you can access the fuel tank whether the car is closed or open. by ScegliAuto More videos
