How to Change the Battery in the Peugeot 208 Key

Replacing the battery in the remote key for this car model is quite simple as you do not need to separate the shells that comprise it, nor extract the electronic circuit as in most cases. You only need to remove the cap on the back of the key to access the battery compartment. Use a small flat-head screwdriver to pry at the back of the key, where there is the loop for the keyring, and detach the cap to then extract and replace the battery, ensuring to insert the new one respecting the polarity.
