How the Blind Spot Indicator Works on the Peugeot 2008

In this video, we see how the blind spot indicator works in the external rear-view mirror of the Peugeot 2008: when the vehicle is started, the orange dots on both mirrors should light up. Verify its functionality on the multimedia screen by pressing the "auto" button, then on the "safety" screen and in the submenu "blind spot monitoring" which must be set to "ON". The light on the mirror illuminates when a passing vehicle is in the blind spot, meaning it is not visible in either the external or internal mirror. The system operates if the speed of our vehicle is between 12 and 87 miles per hour, and the overtaking vehicle must do so within a 15.5 mph difference; it does not work with long vehicles (for obvious reasons) and for the same reason does not function in heavy traffic conditions.
