In this brief video tutorial, see how to remove the headlight leveling motor in a Peugeot 206 by following some simple tips that will help you avoid damaging the motor parts. These tips can also be useful for Peugeot headlights in general. The process is straightforward, but some parts of the motor may break if the procedure is incorrect, and the motor will not function as it should. To prevent the motor from breaking and to ease the removal, turn it half a turn in the direction indicated by the headlight and it is advisable to apply some soap or WD-40 lubricant to the seal to soften it and prevent it from sticking to the headlight. Next, take a cross-head screwdriver, insert it into the slot (see video), and then turn it; at this point, the motor will also turn inwards, and you will hear some clicks. Once fully pulled out, the motor will fit better inside the headlight, and after completing the half turn, the motor will come out.
