Where can I find the legal chassis number (VIN) of the Peugeot 308?

Model: Peugeot 308 T7, MK 1 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Checks and maintenance

In this video, we will see where we can find the legal chassis number of the Peugeot 308 MK1 version. We need to open the hood and go to the passenger side. Lift up the rubber seal that is located under the windshield; underneath, there is a rubber grille. Under this grille, we will find the metal cover of the shock absorber. On top of these, we will find the stamped chassis number, which, being a Peugeot code, will always start with VF. Depending on the year of manufacture, the chassis number may be stamped on top of the cover or on one of its sides.
