In this video, you will see how to replace the courtesy bulb in the external rear view mirror of the Peugeot 308 second series. Please note that this bulb cannot be replaced as a single part by Peugeot, as it is an integrated component of the rear view mirror, which should be replaced along with the entire mirror, costing around £500. Instead, we will spend only £10. Let's see how to do it manually with a bit of patience and creativity, obtaining a bulb of the correct size and removing the bulb holder from the mirror. Naturally, some manual dexterity, a good magnifying glass, and some basic electrical knowledge are required. Once the bulb is inserted into the hole - as shown in the video - glue it with super glue and then with hot glue. Let's see how the electrical connection should be made: before reassembling, check its operation, and only then close everything up.
