Lift the machine with the appropriate jacks and secure it with suitable supports so that it cannot fall. Remove the wheel and to access the bar it is necessary to remove the various components making up the rear wheel arm. Start disassembling the brake drum using the special extractor. Once the drum has been removed, unscrew the locking bolts of the brake unit. If the bolts are seized use a deoxidizer spray. Remove the brake oil hose and move the shoe assembly to the side for better access. Unscrew the bolts and sealing screws. Place a jack under the arm and raise it to relieve the tension on the torsion bar.
