Removing Complete Shock Absorber with Hub

Model: Peugeot 206 MK 1 - Years 1998-2012

Lift the vehicle on a hoist and remove the front wheel; then detach the tie rod end from the steering rack and the suspension arm; disconnect the drop link from its support on the shock absorber; free the grommets and the brake oil pipe; unscrew the central nut securing the driveshaft to the hub and pull it out of its seat; finally, access the engine bay and unscrew the fastening bolts of the shock absorber to its top mount: at this point, it is possible to remove the complete shock absorber with the hub, disc, and brake caliper.
