In this video, we will detail how to repair a Peugeot key, but to carry out this repair, you need some knowledge of electronics, as you will need to remove the microswitches and resolder others, so it is not exactly a simple task and may not be suitable for everyone.

Once the key is opened, you will need the equipment to carry out the desoldering, new microswitches, solder (all materials that can be obtained from any electronics store), and most importantly, the skill to do it, following the step-by-step video from our YouTuber.

Now you will need a new shell that can be obtained from any e-commerce store. Replace the neutral key with the original one and insert the repaired electronic board with its battery.

To remove the key, use pliers to align the button tabs, which will release the spring. In the same way, reinsert the key into your car, allowing the spring to retract and recharge.

You can then close the key casing.
