How do you change the stop contact on the Peugeot 306? We see it in this video: first, remove the panel located below the dashboard, then remove the lower steering wheel protection: just remove two screws, the rest is all snap-on. Also remove the upper part of the steering wheel cover, also held by two torx screws, as well as the eyelid that finishes the instrument panel. This is also held only by two bolts, which we will remove to remove the instrument panel, paying attention to the electrical connections behind it. Now push down the steering column: here too there are two bolts to remove to push it all down. Now we can see the stop switch well. We remove and replace it. This component can be found online at a very low price, after which we can start reassembling everything starting from the instrument panel and the eyelid, then pull up the steering column and reassemble the cover. Put the lower panel back in place and the job is done.
