How to activate and deactivate the electric handbrake of the Peugeot 308

The electric handbrake on a Peugeot 308 model 2 vehicle must be activated or disabled using the button located on the lower central part of the dashboard. The button is marked with the letter "P" which will light up in red when the brake is active, while it will remain white when the brake is disabled. To activate the electric handbrake, simply lift the button slightly and press the brake pedal. To disable the handbrake, simply press the button down and press the brake pedal. If a warning light comes on, you should go to the workshop to have the brake serviced.
