In this guide, we will look at the main steps to remove and replace the brake pads, in this case, the rear ones, of the Piaggio X9 scooter. First, place the scooter on its centre stand and start by unscrewing the two fixing screws of the rear brake caliper using an Allen key; then unscrew the screws of the exhaust silencer to remove it. At this point, remove the brake caliper and replace the old pads with new ones of the correct type and high quality; then reassemble everything!
