To replace the rear-view mirror of a Vespa GTS 125, lift the rubber at the base of the mirror, also raising the plastic cover underneath the rubber. This will allow you to rotate the mirror counterclockwise until the thread at the base is removed from its housing. Doing so will enable you to completely remove the old mirror and insert a new one. After installing the new mirror, replace the plastic cover at the base and then the rubber.
