Today, in this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove and replace the fuel pump on a first-generation 1998 Porsche Boxster. First, access the engine compartment and remove the battery by unscrewing the two terminals (positive and negative) and removing the battery tray; this gives you access to the fuel pump located directly underneath.

Next, unscrew the locking ring, disconnect the electrical connector and the fuel line; then pull it out and replace it with the new one, applying the reverse procedure for reassembly!
