To replace the key fob battery on a Porsche Cayenne, remove the key from the device by pressing the button on the top rear. Once the key is removed, pry it out of its housing, detaching the cover on the back of the device and also removing the battery cover underneath. This way, the old battery can be taken out from its slot, and the new replacement part can be inserted. After replacing, close the key fob and check that everything works.
