The operation of replacing the timing belt on the RAM Promaster is carried out by lifting the vehicle, making sure that the right front wheel is not in contact with the ground: the wheel can be removed from its seat by unscrewing the screws that fix it and also removing the corresponding wheel arch. This will allow access to the central nut that secures the belt tensioner pulley: by loosening this nut, it will be possible to remove the tensioner pulley and reduce the tension of the belt. The belt can now be removed from its seat and replaced with a new one.
