To replace the timing belt on a RAM Promaster, open the hood and lift the vehicle to remove the right front wheel and the corresponding wheel well cover. This will provide access to the side of the engine block, where you will find the bolt securing the tensioner pulley. By removing this bolt, you can take off the pulley, thereby reducing the tension on the belt. The new belt can then be installed in its place, tensioned with the pulley, and ensure everything functions correctly.
