How to Replace the Key Fob Battery for the Dodge Ram Promaster

Follow the instructions below to disassemble and replace the battery of the key fob for the Dodge Ram Promaster. First, take your key fob and use a flathead screwdriver to remove the screw located in the slot of the key; then pry the sides of the fob to open it into two parts, removing the battery as shown in the video. At this point, replace the old battery with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); insert it in the correct orientation and reassemble the two halves of the fob!
