RAM 2500 brake disc replacement

To change the discs of your RAM 2500 you must first lift the car and remove the rubber. It is then necessary to loosen the two screws of the brake caliper which are located inside the disc. Once this has been done, remove the caliper and pads. Once the caliper has been removed, the cotter pin must be removed from the central hub and fitted with a socket wrench. Once you have removed the hub screw, you also remove those inside the disc which will allow you to detach the disc from the hub. This operation will allow the new disc to be seated on the hub. Everything is repositioned after which the disc can be reassembled in the central axle shaft. The central nut is tightened and a new cotter pin is put back on. Once this is done, insert the caliper with the new pads and once the wheel has been reassembled, the whole is rubbed.
