When the starter motor in a Renault Scenic stops working, the cause may be a blown fuse. The starter motor fuse is located inside the fuse box under the front bonnet, on the left side near the battery.

To replace it, open the fuse box and remove fuse number 12, which is a 20 amp white fuse. Use the special pliers located inside the box for removal, and to work safely, disconnect the battery.

Once the fuse is removed, you can insert a new one.
