How to replace the starter motor of the Renault Scenic

The starter motor of the Renault Scenic is located inside the front hood, specifically in the lower central part. The main causes of starter motor failure are the brushes and the small shaft, which need to be cleaned and sometimes replaced. In case it is necessary to replace the starter motor, we need to open the front hood and begin by removing the battery. Remove the battery cover and disconnect the negative pole connector and immediately after the positive pole connector. After deactivating the electrical connection, we can remove the two plugs by pressing the lever upwards and pulling downwards. Unscrew the nut on the tube with an 8mm key to have better access to the ground connectors, which need to be disconnected with a 10mm key. Remove the connector from the air tube and detach the clamps on the tube to remove it. Loosen the bushing using a 13mm key and remove the starter motor. Insert the starter motor and screw the bushing using a 13mm key, and mount the air tubes by inserting the retaining clamps. Screw the tube nut and connect the positive ground connector.
