Replacing the starter motor on the Scenic? Disconnect the battery terminals before removing the starter motor. Unscrew the securing bolts of the starter motor, disconnect the power connectors of the motor using pliers or a screwdriver depending on the pressure.

Remove the part from its housing and take it out of the engine bay. Secure the new starter motor with the securing screws and connect the power cables. Reconnect the battery power and test if the Scenic works.

Turn the key and perform the test.
