In order to deactivate the alarm of the Renault Megane, you need to completely remove the carpet located in the lower part of the glove compartment on the front passenger side: once the carpet in this position has been removed, you will be able to locate the connector underneath that controls the alarm system. By disconnecting this connector, you will notice that the car alarm will be completely deactivated: you can then put the carpet back in its correct position, and to reactivate the alarm you just need to reconnect the connector.
