In this video, we will see where the chassis numbers of the Renault Laguna II are located: starting with the legal chassis number, which is the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) found by opening the front bonnet, under the edge of the windscreen; you will need to remove the rubber seal located under the wiper, and you will find the stamped chassis number, which starts with VF1 and consists of 17 digits.

Next, there is a courtesy plate located in front of the driver, on the inside of the windscreen, clearly visible from the outside.

A third metal label, indicating the chassis number and the paint codes (external paint colour) and trim (interior upholstery colour), is usually found on the driver's door pillar.
