Let's see how to remove the rear hatch cover of a Renault Megane II: we will need a 20 mm Torx socket, with which we will remove the four screws that hold the plastic cover of the hatch: two of these are located inside the handles used to pull down the hatch when it is lifted.

Now, with a screwdriver, remove the cover of the locking mechanism.
