How to clean the EGR valve of a Renault Clio IV

Let's see how to clean the EGR valve of a Renault Clio IV: lift the car at its front. The EGR is in an awkward position, and to access it we must remove the air flow meter sheath, the turbo air duct, the ventilation tube, and the lower part of the turbo duct. To disassemble the EGR valve, we must disconnect the electrical connector of the valve, unscrew the 3 fixing bolts with a 10mm wrench, disconnect the coolant tube (some liquid may come out). The valve is often stuck due to carbon deposits. Spray some lubricating grease, such as LiquiMoly Tacky Lube spray, which can be found on eBay with code 202479195660 at a price of 15.90 euros, free delivery. Once it is free, remove the valve and its inlet duct if necessary (unscrewing two more 10mm bolts). Remove the metal gasket from the valve, generously spray the specific cleaner (again LiquiMoly but Ansaug-System-reiniger with code 202479232689 at a price of 28.50 euros, free delivery, also on eBay). Rub and brush until the metal surfaces are clean; also clean the EGR inlet duct on the manifold. When reassembling, install a new gasket, put the valve back in place, reconnect the coolant tube, screw in the 3 fixing bolts, reconnect the electrical connector, and reassemble all the components that were previously removed, in reverse order. Lower the car, start the engine.
