Issues with the supercharging system of a Renault Grand Scenic 1.5 dCi.

Model: Renault Scenic MK III, Scenic III, Scenic 3, MK 3 - Years 2009-2015
Part: Checks and maintenance

In this video, we talk about the problems with the turbocharger system of the Renault Grand Scenic III with the 1.5 dCi engine. This is a known issue, which occurs with sudden loss of power, especially on the highway and at high engine speeds, which can lead to poor acceleration and increased fuel consumption. This fault, reported as error code P2263, can be due to a faulty compressor valve, a problem with the electronic control unit, or - as we see in the video - a leak in the intercooler pipe. In this case, it is essential to check for any cracks or damage to the flexible turbocharger boost pipe connected to the intercooler, particularly looking for thin cracks next to the clip. Of course, the pipe must be replaced entirely, what we see in the video is just a temporary fix.
