Do you hear the tailgate is very heavy? Learn how to resolve the loss of strength of the struts on the rear tailgate of a Renault Scenic. Lift the tailgate and secure it; using a socket spanner, loosen the securing bolts of the rear lights (remove them) and with a screwdriver, remove the securing clips located at both ends of the strut. Disconnect the worn strut and fit the new part into the two seats. Secure the strut with the metal clips. Proceed in the same way for the removal/installation of the strut on the opposite side.
